Board Policy No. 4137/4237/4337
Policy Adopted:  June 26, 2000

TUTORING

The Governing Board expects teachers and other members of the instructional staff to make every effort to resolve students’ learning problems at school.  By maintaining a competent, dedicated staff and adequate instructional resources, the Board seeks to minimize the need for individual tutoring.

To preclude conflicts of interest, staff members and/or members of their family may not accept any kind of remuneration for tutoring a student enrolled in the District.  Staff members who tutor students outside the district must perform this service outside of school facilities and make their own arrangement with parents/guardians for the fees to be charged.
