Enrollment Priorities Task Force

New school boundaries, to be enacted in 2019-20 were approved this spring.

Enrollment priorities are the policies that determine how students are assigned to schools within boundaries. An Enrollment Priorities Task Force, made up of parents, staff members and community members, will begin meeting soon to develop an enrollment process that supports Board priorities and the adopted boundaries for 2019-20.

The group's charge is to:
• provide recommendations on how to streamline the enrollment priorities administrative regulation
• look at best practices in enrollment that could help mitigate the impact of future growth
• provide a recommendation on grandfathering policy to help enact the new boundaries

At the Sept. 17 Board of Trustees meeting, Superintendent Dr. Rudolph reviewed the process for revising enrollment priorities. To view the presentation, click here

Group work will begin in October. Applications are being reviewed according to this timeline:
* Sept 13 - PTA presidents will review community applications for any overrepresented boundary area.
* Sept 19 - District Advisory Committee will conduct a blind review of the applicants and make recommendations for final selection
* September 22 - Final candidates are identified.
