MVWSD Summer is a collection of programs to help students' academic skills stay sharp, and keep them connected to learning technology and free meals.

Free summer meals

summer meals graphicChildren 18 years and younger can pick up free meals at schools throughout the summer at these locations:

* Crittenden Middle School - 1701 Rock St. (June 7-August 6), 11:30 a.m.-1p.m.
* Jose Antonio Vargas Elementary - 220 N. Whisman Rd. (June 14-August 6), 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
* Monta Loma Elementary - 460 Thompson Ave. (June 14-August 6), 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
* Rengstorff Park - 201 S. Rengstorff- Food for children and adults (June 14-August 6), Noon-1:30 p.m.

Current, returning students have access to their Chromebooks and internet access through their school. For help with Chromebooks, please contact MVWSD Technology at 650-526-3252 or at support@mvwsd.org. Some in-person hours for tech help are available by appointment. Please call before you come.

Summer Learning

MVWSD's summer learning consists of optional, student/ parent-directed resources to help students keep their skills up over the summer.  Just a couple hours a week practicing important skills in reading and mathematics during the summer makes a difference!
