Welcome to Mountain View Safe routes to Schools! 

In 2011, the City launched a Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program to promote walking and bicycling to school for Mountain View students and families. 

Why Walk and roll to School

The benefits of Safe Routes to School include improving transportation safety, reducing traffic congestion, providing a pleasant environment for physical activities, and promoting inclusion and independence.
