Beyond the Bell, in partnership with the City of Mountain View, is a high-quality, free after-school program that provides student enrichment through homework help, recreation, literacy, and Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) activities.

Who do we serve?

With limited spots available, priority is given to students in grades 2-8 based on academic criteria and principal and teacher recommendation.  Any additional slots are offered to families through open enrollment. Program invitation is for the current school year only.

Cost

Per site, yearly, one-time $105 non-refundable registration fee per student ($55 this year due to COVID-19/distance learning for 2020-21).  There are no other fees for the program.

Hours and days

Open on school days, after class dismissal until 6pm (start times vary by location.

Program Eligibility

Program invitations are issued based upon student benchmark scores and English Language Learner assessment scores along with principal and teacher input.  Program invitation is for the current school year only.  Selection of students starts at the end of the school year so that students are in place and ready to go starting the new school year.
