MVWSD has partnered with providers Right at School and YMCA to provide on-campus, fee-based childcare. Care includes support with schoolwork.

Right at School (all elementary schools)
RAS offers after-school care at all elementary schools (Mistral and Castro are combined at Mistral).
The program starts at the end of the school day and runs until 6pm. Families can visit https://www.rightatschool.com/program-finder/ to look up their specific school and find prices and to register.
Right at School is a fee-based, nationally-recognized afterschool program held every day that school is in session. The program incorporates physical movement, outdoor time and homework completion. It offers 10% sibling discount, 25% discount for free and reduced lunch families and flexible 1,2,3,4, and 5-day pricing options. For more information, about Right at School, click here.
YMCA Silicon Valley Before and Aftercare (Bubb, Castro, Imai, Landels, Mistral, Stevenson, Theuerkauf, Vargas)
The Y is a 30-year provider of childcare and is led by committed, professional afterschool leaders. YMCA afterschool programs provide a safe and fun learning environment for kids. The Y provides programming in 99 schools throughout the community. Kids enjoy fun physical activities, healthy snacks, homework help, enrichment clubs, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities, arts time and engage in strong character development. The Y offers a 10% sibling discount, as well as financial assistance for qualifying families.

No Cost Childcare for Qualifying Students

MVWSD+ is a new district program that provides qualifying students with enriching summer and after-school care for free. If you have questions or think you may qualify, please contact your school office. More information is also available by clicking here.
MVWSD Beyond the Bell Program (Castro, Landels, Theuerkauf, Crittenden, Monta Loma)
The Beyond the Bell Program, in partnership with the City of Mountain View, is a free, high-quality after-school program that provides student enrichment through homework help, recreation, literacy and Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.
This non-fee program is offered at select school sites for students in grades 2-8. Students are invited to attend this program based upon student benchmark scores, English Language Learner assessment scores and principal and teacher input. Click

The BEAT at Graham Middle School
The BEAT is a free program by the City of Mountain View available to students that strives to: Build skills in study routines, Empower youth, increase Activity, and promote Teamwork. The BEAT provides a safe environment where teens are supported academically and engaged with a variety of recreational and social activities. Participants are given choices to participate in various recreation and enrichment activities, as well as time to work on homework. The City of Mountain View Parks & Rec Department (summer and holiday camps)
The City of Mountain View Recreation Division provides a wide range of educational, creative and fun programs to the community. The Recreation Division also offers summer and holiday camps. Click here for fees and information on City-run summer and holiday camps.
The Mountain View Recreation Division also offers The BEAT Program at Graham Middle School. This is a free after-school program available to Graham Middle School students. The BEAT provides a safe environment where teens are supported academically and engaged with a variety of recreational and social activities.
