1330.1 BP - Use of School Fields

Policy Adopted:  September 13, 1999 


The Governing Board believes that the primary purpose of school fields shall be available for school physical education programs and student recreation activities.  School fields may also be used for intermural and intramural training and events.

The Governing Board recognizes that district fields that have been improved and are adequately maintained are also a community resource. The Board may authorize the use of school fields by community groups according to conditions as determined by the Superintendent or designee.

Community use of school fields shall not result in additional costs to the district.
