Devices/Support

Access to technology is a critical tool for students to access district curriculum as well as district-required programs such as state assessments.

Computers help students learn basic tech skills—typing, navigating the internet safely, using documents and presentations—which are essential for later grades, high school and beyond.

MVWSD is also committed to bridging the digital divide and ensuring all students and families have access to devices and the internet. Through technology, families access school communications, resources, and services—strengthening the home–school connection.

While technology access augments students’ ability to learn, participate, and succeed in modern society, it does not replace hands-on learning, social interaction, or traditional teaching. MVWSD seeks to balance technology access to add value to instruction without creating overreliance.
