YMCA Kids’ Place (child care before and after school)

The District's partner, El Camino YMCA, provides before and after school childcare for our elementary students. The Kids' Place programs are at the school sites and provide games, outside time, quiet time to catch up on homework as well as homework assistance, arts & crafts and more. Parents register with the YMCA. Click here for details and contact information.

In the summer and for holidays, parents may register students for day care through the YMCA's.  Click here for fees and information on the Y camps.  

The City of Mountain View Parks & Rec Department (summer and holiday camps)

The City of Mountain View Recreation Division provides a wide range of educational, creative and fun programs to the community.  The Recreation Division also offers summer and holiday camps.  Click here for fees and information on summer and holiday camps.

The Mountain View Recreation Division also offers The BEAT Program at Graham Middle School. This is a free after-school program available to Graham Middle School students.  The BEAT provides a safe environment where teens are supported academically and engaged with a variety of recreational and social activities.  The program is led by trained Mountain View City Recreation staff.  Click here for more information and a registration form.

MVWSD Beyond the Bell Program (after school homework club)

The Beyond the Bell Program, in partnership with the City of Mountain View, is an after-school program that provides student enrichment through homework help, recreation, literacy and Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.

This non-fee program is offered at select school sites for students in grades 2-8.  Students are invited to attend this program based upon student benchmark scores, CELDT (California English Language Test) scores and principal and teacher input.  Click here for more program details.

MVWSD Summer School Programs

The Mountain View Whisman School District offers summer school opportunities based upon the needs of our students and district.  The District finalizes a scheudule of summer programs in February.
