Technology at School

Google Workspace

MVWSD Google Workspace is a suite of tools designed to empower teachers and students as they learn and innovate together, hosted by Google and managed by MVWSD. Workspace provides the ability for MVWSD students, faculty, and staff to communicate, store files and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in real-time from school, work, or home.

Clever

We use Clever as a central single sign-on platform to manage, roster, and ensure the security of most of the applications that we use in our district. Students are able to access the Google Workspace apps, iReady, Zearn, Literably, etc. all through Clever. For more information on the apps that students use at school, click here.

YouTube Explained:

We get many questions regarding YouTube at school. While YouTube is allowed at school, we have filters in place and give teachers the option to block it using Securly’s classroom management tools. YouTube is allowed to give students access to videos that are often assigned by their teachers and in order to allow them to do research for assignments.
