If you are interested in becoming a frequent volunteer in your child’s school next year, please check your email inbox later this week for details specific to you about renewing or obtaining a new volunteer badge for 2024-25. 

Do you know someone who may want to join MVWSD’s dynamic team? Please encourage them to attend our job fair on Saturday, July 27 from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. at Stevenson Elementary (750 San Pierre Way). We are seeking Teachers, Substitute Teachers, Instructional Assistants, Noon Duties, BTB After School Tutors, and more! Interviews will be held during the job fair. Candidates should bring their paperwork for expedited hiring. See mvwsd.org/jobs for more details about open positions.

PowerSchool access

Please note that the PowerSchool Parent Portal will be unavailable for families until August 9 due to data rollover for the new school year. Student's class placements are scheduled to be available at 3 pm on Aug. 9 in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. 

MVWSD had the amazing opportunity to serve more than 700 students this summer with enrichment and camp programs at Stevenson and Castro/Mistral. The MVWSD+ program is helping qualifying students retain their learning gains this year as well as engaging in social emotional learning.

Pictured here is also a team-building relay race activity being led by our wonderful Right at School staff. It was a fun and creative summer all around for our MVWSD+ participants!
