Eighth-graders accomplishments 2020
graduate balloonsOn June 5, MVWSD eighth-graders are promoting from Crittenden and Graham Middle schools, and are on their way to MVLA and other local high schools this fall.
 
In addition to many personal and individual accomplishments, we recognize our eighth-graders’ contributions to these school accomplishments.

Crittenden:
* 37 Panthers had a 4.0 GPA (cumulative)
* 79 maintained a 3.5 - 3.9 GPA
* Boys' soccer won back to back championships
* Girls' basketball was undefeated for the 3rd year in a row
* 3 8th grade runner qualified for cross country finals
* 8th-grade girls' volleyball placed 3rd in the league
* Girls' softball placed 3rd in the league
* Robotics team -the Pantherbots- had 23 students on three teams led by  8th graders. The EcoBuilders team earned a 2nd place overall robot score in a local competition and were selected to advance to Northern California's FIRST LEGO League District Championship.

Graham Middle School
* 157 students earned a 3.5 or above
* Performance Arts students participated in the CMEA Bay Section Honor Groups in January, 2020.
* Varsity Robotics won 1st place Innovative Solution Award at the Regional Championships, and earned a spot in the semifinals at the Global Innovation Expo
* The Cross-Country team had five 8th grade runners move on to League Finals.
* Five 8th grade wrestlers moved on to sectional finals and one 8th grade wrestler placed in County Finals
* The 7/8th grade girls soccer team completed an undefeated season and won the VAL Championship.
