Enrollment Priorities Task Force to revise enrollment priorities this year

New school boundaries, to be enacted in 2019-20, were approved this spring. Now what? At the Sept. 17 Board of Trustees meeting, Superintendent Dr. Rudolph reviewed the process for revising enrollment priorities.

Enrollment priorities are the policies that determine how students are assigned to schools within boundaries. An Enrollment Priorities Task Force made up of parents, staff members and community members, will begin meeting soon to develop an enrollment process that supports Board priorities and the adopted boundaries for 2019-20.

The task force will work to create a simplified enrollment priorities list that is easy to understand and implement. The group will develop solutions to address community concerns and make a recommendation for grandfathering students.

Updates will be shared through this newsletter and on the EPTF web page.
